Jeremy Miller – Owner & Chief Instructor at Miller Firearms Training

 

Jeremy teaches Minnesota Permit to Carry classes and other defensive firearms training courses. The lessons and methods that he teaches have come from years of experience in the military and private security fields.

Jeremy served in the Marine Corps from 2001 to 2005 where he operated as the Team Leader for  Scout Sniper Team 2 in 3rd Battalion 8th Marines. His team was deployed for a peacekeeping mission to Haiti in 2004 and to Fallujah, Iraq in January 2005.

After leaving the Marine Corps, Jeremy worked as a private security contractor, providing close protection for United States diplomats throughout Iraq. From 2005- 2010, Jeremy was assigned to security details in Baghdad, Erbil, and Kirkuk, Iraq.

Since returning stateside, Jeremy has been teaching at the high school and college level. His experience teaching psychology gives him a solid academic background in teaching the psychological and physiological effects of high stress situations. This, along with his real world personal experience in combat operations, makes Jeremy an ideal instructor for your defensive firearms training.

Jeremy is also an NRA certified pistol and Personal Protection in the Home instructor. He has bachelors degrees in Sports and Health Sciences and Social Studies Education, as well as a Masters degree in Economic Education.
